Dear Parents
I am looking forward to another year of fun here in room 103! I am Lisa\’s teacher\’s assistant in the 4 and 5-year-old class. Lisa and me have been working together for 2 years now and we’ve grown a lot together. Our teaching styles are very similar and we are very comfortable with each other.
Before I came to the preschool I attended San Diego City College and graduated 2004 with an Associate Degree in Child Development. I also received a certificate of achievement for Teacher. One of my teachers from City College knew Patty, our Director, and told me it would be a good idea to do my Work Experience at the Preschool. I\’m glad I said yes because otherwise I don\’t think I\’d be here!
This year is not only going to be an experience for your children, but for me also. I am looking forward to speaking and reading to your children in Spanish. I am looking forward to meeting the new families and getting to know them as the year goes by. I am excited to see the children in my class grow, as they get closer to go to kindergarten
